Philip C. Dales has joined Liff, Walsh & Simmons as a partner in the firm’s land use practice, enhancing the firm’s real estate and business capabilities. Prior to joining Liff, Walsh & Simmons, Phil was with Walsh, Colucci, Lubeley & Walsh, P.C. in Washington, D.C.

Phil will concentrate his practice on comprehensive and general zoning matters, including rezonings, variances, special exceptions, planned development applications and planning. He will also assist clients with administrative law and real property issues related to environmental compliance, building permits, and commercial landlord tenant disputes. He has obtained favorable decisions for clients from the Circuit Court to the Court of Appeals, Maryland’s highest court.
A native of Annapolis, Phil holds a BA in English and Economics from Washington and Lee University, a Master of Urban and Environmental Planning from University of Virginia and obtained his J.D. from University of Maryland School of Law in 2013.
